St. Non's Well, Wales

Reputed to be the place where Nonita, or St. Non, gave birth to St. David in the sixth century.  The belief is that the well sprang forth just as she gave birth; but Monica Sjoo speculates here that Nonita had gone to this well because it would aid her in the birth.

The astonishingly beautiful view from St. Non's Well.

Next to the well is the ruins of a chapel, discussed here (this will take you off-site, use your back arrow to return) by Monica Sjoo, along with her profound insights on the history of the well as a shrine to the Goddess.
